Down Syndrome International (DSi)

Down Syndrome International is a UK based international charity, comprising a membership of individuals and organisations from all over the world, committed to improving quality of life for people with Down syndrome worldwide and promoting their inherent right to be accepted and included as valued and equal members of their communities.

Members include people with Down syndrome, parents, family members and friends, carers, professionals, practitioners, researchers, organisations and people who are just interested in Down syndrome.

Aims:
• Provide information, support and resources to people with Down syndrome, their families and carers, and the professionals who work with them with specific focus on developing countries.
• Represent people with Down syndrome with a single global voice and encourage international communication and cooperation.
• Raise awareness about Down syndrome and the potential of people with Down syndrome to be valued members of their communities.
