On October 16, 1947, Drs. Fermín Alpizar, Josefina Amiguet, José Cadrechea, Gonzalo Estrada de la Riva, Javier Fernández Castro, José Pedrera, José M. Quintero and Julio de los Santos met to approve the statutes of the Cuban Society Allergy On April 7, 1948 they made the request for the creation of the company before the Provincial Government, on the 12th of the same month they replied that the request had been approved and that they should send the act of constitution to the Bureau of Associations, Public Order and Elections. On August 26, 1948 the founding members of the society agreed to legally leave the Cuban Allergy Society. The Board of Directors was formed by doctors Gonzalo Estrada de la Riva as President, José Cadrechea Álvarez, Vice President; José M. Quintero Fossas as Secretary, the Treasurer, José Pedrera and the members Julio de los Santos, Javier Fernández Castro and Josefina Amiguet. In 1958 the Society continued chaired by Gonzalo Estrada de la Riva. On November 6, 1948, by Decree of the Provincial Government, the company was approved and registered in the Special Registry of Associations, Book 23, Folio 202, No. 14632. The Cuban Society of Allergy had the objective of grouping doctors dedicated to the study of the allergy and was domiciled in San Lázaro y Soledad, Solimar building, Havana, Cuba.
