Since their founding in 1967, the Foundation has played a role in every major breakthrough in IBD research. They have invested more than $500 million into finding the causes, treatments, and cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. And they won’t stop until they realize their vision of a future free from Crohn’s and colitis.
Mission:
The mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
The Foundation sponsors basic and clinical research of the highest quality. They also offer a wide range of educational programs for patients and healthcare professionals, while providing supportive services to help people cope with these chronic intestinal diseases. These programs are supported solely through their donors, grants, fundraising efforts, and sponsors.
