Croatian Society of Periodontology company was founded in 1999 and was created as a result of an independent specialization in periodontology, that is, by separating from the so-called "triple" specialization of dental and oral pathology with periodontology, and according to the recommendation of the European Federation for Periodontology (EFP) from 1996.
