Critical Care Society of Southern Africa (CCSSA)

Founded in 1970, the Critical Care Society of Southern Africa (CCSSA) represents doctors, nurses and allied health practitioners (Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Occupational Therapists, Technicians etc) working in the field of critical care medicine.

Mission:
CCSSA mission is to strengthen the critical care community by providing professional development; research; guidelines; protocols; accreditation; training; conferences and seminars to its members as well as information and resources to patients and their families on all aspects of critical care and ICU.

Vision:
CCSSA’s vision is to deliver appropriate, quality care to the critically ill.
