Connecticut Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Society (CTAPRNS)

The Connecticut Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Society (CTAPRNS) was established as a non-profit organization in 1981 (formerly known as the Connecticut Nurse Practitioner Group, Inc., or CNPGI) to provide a professional organization for the discussion of issues of mutual concern to advanced practice nurses (APRNs).

Mission:
Promote collaboration between Connecticut's APRNs, physicians, other health care providers, educators, administrators, consumers, legislators and stakeholders to improve the quality, delivery and access to health care for the citizens of Connecticut.

Vision:
Increased access to quality health care for patients through the implementation of the full scope of practice for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses in the State of Connecticut.
