Colombian Association of Surgery / Asociacion Colombiana de Cirugia

Mission:
In the immediate future, the Colombian Surgery Association will give priority to the scientific and professional development of surgeons in Colombia, strengthen its status as an entity that integrates the interests of its members and will reinvigorate its presence in the country.

Objectives:
• Become an entity that provides permanent advice to its members in the scientific, professional, legal, tax, etc.
• Develop programs of production of medical knowledge on a large scale, allowing the constant updating of surgeons.
• Develop strategic alliances with other companies, the pharmaceutical industry, EPSs and IPSs, to implement new models of continuing medical education, with emphasis on the use of new teaching technologies.
• Establish accreditation programs for human resources and actively intervene in the planting of the same, having as main objectives, the quality and the worthy exercise of the profession.
