Colombian Association of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery / Asociacion Colombiana de Dermatologia y Cirugia Dermatologica (AsoColDerma)

Mission:
• Encouraging the study, research and practice of dermatology is the main mission of the association.
• In the pursuit of the fulfillment of this purpose develops different objectives such as: Stimulate research and scientific publications.
• Establish guidelines so that dermatologists can exercise their profession in a dignified, ethical, equitable manner with scientific and human quality.
• Seek to intervene in discussions and arbitrate institutional, university and social problems that are related to the specialty. Support, as a consultative body, private and public entities in matters related to dermatology and also advises educational entities in the structuring of their programs for the training of specialists.
• Encourage the holding of scientific meetings, courses and conferences for the permanent updating of dermatologists.
• Monitor everything that relates to the exercise of the specialty and promote the unity of dermatologists.

Vision:
The Colombian Association of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery for the year 2015, will be a pioneer in the world as a model of support and promoter of continuous education for its associates, strengthening the permanent interest in research, with a great social sense, facilitated by new technologies and according to the mission.
