College of General Practitioners (College de la Medecine Generale)

The College of General Practitioners , registered association under the 1901 law , was born on the initiative of representative unions of general medicine ( UNOF - CSMF , SML , MG France , General Union / FMF) , and scientific societies of general medicine (ESC , SMFG , SFTG , SFDRMG ) recognized by the profession and grouped within the RSSMG (grouping scientific societies of general medicine) .

Chaired since 2010 by Professor Pierre-Louis Druais , the College aims to facilitate the representation and promotion of the quality of the professional practice of general medicine as regards common topics include: continuing professional development , validation and producing recommendations in primary care, general medicine research , qualitative aspects of the practice of general medicine and initial medical training.
