College of Internal Medicine of Mexico AC / Colegio de Medicina Interna de Mexico, A.C (CMIM)

The Mexican College of Internal Medicine AC (CMIM) was founded as the Mexican Association of Internal Medicine (AMIM) AC in 1974 and remained as such for 28 years. It was established as a College in 2002 and remains so today.

The Mexican College of Internal Medicine AC is an academic/scientific institution of excellence, constituted as a non-profit civil association (AC). It is made up of registered internists with current certification, which provides it with a solid structure and grants it prestige and recognition. It carries out activities aimed at promoting study, research, and continuing medical education in internal medicine and related sciences among physicians. Advances in these studies are collected, analyzed, and disseminated to update knowledge and establish cutting-edge medical criteria for healthcare professionals to properly practice their comprehensive medical practice, thus contributing to improved clinical outcomes for their patients.

The Mexican College of Internal Medicine is a prestigious, non-profit academic institution established to conduct development activities that foster study and research through the continuing medical education of the country's internal medicine physicians. This is intended to enhance their knowledge and enable them to properly practice their clinical medicine with the highest quality standards.
