The Clinical Robotic Surgery Association ("CRSA", the "Association") focuses on robotic surgery in the field of general surgery and its related specialties, including: Upper GI; HPB; Thoracic; Colorectal; Vascular; Transplant; ENT; Endocrine; Oncology; and Bariatric.
They aim to provide clinical, educational and innovative services that will constitute the preferred forum to compare and discuss practical aspects of robotic surgery.
Mission:
The Association's mission is to help spread robotic techniques in general surgery and its related specialties. More specifically, the Association plans to undertake activities aimed to:
• Provide a forum to compare and discuss practical aspects of surgery;
• Facilitate the opportunity to contact colleagues, experts, proctors and trainers;
• Favor multi-institutional programs at all times;
• Support and favor clinical and experimental research aimed at expanding the clinical application of robotic surgery; and
Develop standards of practice that encourage quality improvement in clinical practice for the purpose of enhancing patient safety.
