Clinical and Patient Educators Association (CPEA)

Clinical and Patient Educators Association, a not-for-profit organization under Section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code, was founded in 2010 for the purpose of developing quality, innovative education for healthcare practitioners and the patient communities they serve. Because of its mission and public charity status, CPEA is qualified to receive tax deductible grants and donations under the Internal Revenue Code.

CPEA identified a need for designing education aimed at addressing practice gaps among primary and specialty care practitioners and healthcare information knowledge gaps within their respective patient populations. CPEA’s education programs are designed to improve practitioner diagnosis and treatment competence, as well as help patients enjoy healthier and happier lives after being diagnosed with a disease or other health-related issue.
