Chilean Society of Endocrinology and Diabetes / Sociedad Chilena de Endocrinologia y Diabetes (SOCHED)

The "Chilean Society of Endocrinology and Diabetes" is the continuation of the primitive "Chilean Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism", which, although without legal personality, was founded on Wednesday June 4, 1958, in the city of Santiago. On the occasion, a group of 24 enthusiastic and outstanding young endocrinologists met to realize the idea of ​​founding a Scientific Society dedicated to the development of Endocrinology in Chile. Since then, it has operated without interruption and has been the main meeting point for professionals dedicated to endocrinology and diabetes in their country.

Mission:
Integrate professionals interested in Endocrinology and Diabetes, in order to lead the development and dissemination of these disciplines in all areas in Chile, with international projection, excellence and ethical responsibility, for the benefit of its members, the population. and the country.
