Chattanooga Area Nurses in Advanced Practice (CANAP)

Chattanooga Area Nurses in Advanced Practice (CANAP) is an organization of over 200 of the top Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in Chattanooga, TN and the surrounding areas. CANAP membership consists of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Anesthetists, and students going into these areas of advanced practice.

Mission :
Chattanooga Area Nurses in Advanced Practice (CANAP) is committed to supporting and fostering the role of the advance practice registered nurse in Chattanooga, TN and surrounding areas by:
• Ensuring the delivery of safe, comprehensive patient care to area residents.
• Providing continuing education and updates to the local registered nurses involved in advanced practice.
• Supporting legislative action that enhances the success of current and future advanced practice registered nurses.
• Assisting advance practice registered nurses in finding employment.
