Centre Psychiatrique Saint-Bernard

The Saint-Bernard Psychiatric Centre welcomes about 300 adults with psychological difficulties, mental disabilities or mental illness in the 8 Care Units of its Hospital.

It is also a Psychiatric Care Home (PSM) that provides licensed residential accommodation to people with stabilized chronic mental illnesses. The MSP Bois de la Fontaine can accommodate 136 people in 8 places of life.

Each Care Unit and Place of Life is a place that is welcoming, secure and respectful of the needs, rights and experiences of the individual.

The care of the patient or the resident is global, it addresses the patient in all its aspects. In an environment adapted and open to civil society, the Saint-Bernard Psychiatric Centre promotes respect for the dignity of everyone.

Multi-disciplinary teams provide people with competent support that aims to ensure an ever-increasing quality of life.

Many devices and activities tailored to each other's needs allow patients and residents to reconnect with themselves, to regain a sense of trust, to create, to communicate, to expressthemselves, to be involved in their research and in their efforts,to regain a place in the community.
