Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education (CPME) / Centrum Medyczne Ksztalcenia Podyplomowego (CMKP)

Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education (CMKP/CPME) is an independent public institution established over 50 years ago. It plays a fundamental role in the system of postgraduate medical education in Poland, launching nearly 1400 courses each year for over 40,000 trainees, mostly medical doctors. CPME conducts teaching and scholarly activities in nearly 90 establishments located in Warsaw and its vicinity. In addition to scholarly activities, CPME’s objectives include initiating and carrying out research activities, developing and updating specialty curricula, accrediting units providing specialty training, conducting proceedings for recognition of qualifications for medical specialties, and maintaining registers of specializing doctors and training bodies.
