The Canadian Orthopaedic Association (COA) is a not-for-profit professional association representing the interests of orthopaedic surgeons in Canada. COA is committed to maintaining the highest standards of orthopaedic care for Canadian patients, by providing our surgeon members with continuing medical education, subspecialty support, knowledge sharing, advocacy platforms, fellowship programs, leadership opportunities and collaboration with other health-care associations.

Vision & Mission:
The mission of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association is to serve the profession and promote excellence in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal health for Canadians. Accordingly, our goals are to provide Canada with outstanding and committed surgeons, and ensure that adequate and accessible resources are available for Canadians.

COA objectives to assist us in achieving their goals are to advance professional fulfillment, to promote and provide education for our members, to communicate and inform and to advocate for national standards.
