Canadian Academy of Periodontology (CAP)

Mission:
Their mission is to serve the members of the Academy as the national voice of periodontists, to promote excellence in the practice of periodontics by setting the standards of care and guidelines for therapy, and to advance the periodontal health of the public.

Since its creation, the Academy remains committed to ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of periodontal care by it's members, the Canadian public.

In keeping with the above, they are unable to give any opinion on specific clinical cases.

Vision:
The Academy unifies periodontists as the recognized leaders with the expertise to advance, provide and educate on periodontics and surgical tooth replacement care. Periodontists are key to comprehensive oral health care and a central collaborative interface with allied partners between oral health and general health.
