Brno Trade Fairs and Exhibitions / Brnenske Veletrhy and Vystavy (BVV)

Since 2001 the official name of the company has been Veletrhy Brno, a.s. ( BVV Trade Fairs Brno, joint-stock company). Derived from its original name the abbreviated form BVV stands for Brnenske Veletrhy and Vystavy (Brno Trade Fairs and Exhibitions). The abbreviated form BVV is still in use due to its high level of brand awareness. With 100 per cent of shares the main shareholder of BVV Trade Fairs Brno is city Brno.

• BVV Trade Fairs Brno Co. (Veletrhy Brno, a.s.), is the leading organizer of international trade fairs tailored to the needs of the Czech economy and its industrial sectors represented by the respective business associations, our main partners.
• International trade fairs held in the Brno Exhibition Centre showcase the Czech economy, its important sectors, and are a platform for development of international trade and exports.
• BVV Trade Fairs Brno Co. is responsible not only towards its shareholders, clients and employees, but it is also a responsible corporate citizen. BVV is regarded as one of the most prominent multipliers of the economy of the city and the South-Moravian region.
• The common interest of the majority shareholder - municipality of the City of Brno, of the company’s management and its employees, is to ensure a sustainable development of the exhibition industry in Brno and prosperity of the Brno Exhibition Centre.
