The British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) is the home of image-guided surgery in the UK. They are a charitable foundation founded to promote and develop the practice of Interventional Radiology.

The main objectives of the society are: • To support and develop access to high quality information on Interventional Radiology for patients and all healthcare professionals.
• To support audit and research in Interventional Radiology.
• To support education and training in Interventional Radiology.
The society has grown in an exponential manner and is now the largest radiological subspecialty society in the UK. Their membership currently stands at over 650 UK members, and 35 overseas members, and they want to ensure that more and more IRs join and grow their fantastic organisation.
