Brazilian Society of Pathology / Sociedade Brasileira de patologia (SBP)

The Brazilian Society of Pathology (SBP)was founded on August 5, 1954, during the Brazilian Seminar on Pathological Anatomy, in the Meeting Room of the Medical Association of Parana, in Curitiba.

Mission:
To offer technical, scientific, and professional support, serving as a reference in the practice of pathology.

Vision:
To be recognized as an association of high ethical and professional standards, with effective representation in civil society, government, and the community, consolidating itself as a reference in the practice of Pathology in Latin America.

Values:
Associative : To bring pathologists together, facilitating teamwork to create opportunities for their professional and academic development.
Ethics : To work towards compliance with ethical standards, the medical code of ethics, and good laboratory practices for the medical community.
