History :
Founded on August 14, 1943, in Sao Paulo, by Dr. Dante Pazzanese, the Brazilian Society of Cardiology (SBC) currently has a staff of 13,000 members and is the largest company of Latin American cardiology.

Mission :
Expand and disseminate knowledge in cardiovascular science, represent and promote the development of the cardiologist, carry out actions in favor of cardiovascular health in the country.
