Nowadays, there is an increase and diversity in health-threatening dangers due to many factors such as the development of industry, the advancement of technology, the change of lifestyles, urbanization, proliferation of wastes and population increase. Protective systems must also be strong and active in order not to be vulnerable to any emerging risks. The first rule of this is knowledge and education.

In our country, there has been an increase in biocide diversity due to the transition to modern agriculture, progress and expansion in health services and the emergence of different industrial sectors. In this context; monitoring, evaluating, realizing the scientific developments related to the subject, informing the society accurately and scientifically, conducting scientific studies on the subject, educating the society and the professionals of the field, and establishing the analysis infrastructure.

Biocidal Occupational Health and Environmental Health Association was established in 2015 with its academic staff, for the purpose of establishment, with its actions, objectives and being the “first ında in its field.
