Austrian Society for Periodontology / Osterreichische Gesellschaft fur Parodontologie (OGP)

The Austrian Society for Periodontology (ÖGP) has been an independent association according to the provisions of the Associations Act and is also registered as such with the association authorities.

The association sees the following as tasks and goals:
• Implementation of periodontal prophylactic measures
• periodontitis prophylaxis
• Advanced training in the field of periodontal treatment for practicing dentists according to the current state of knowledge
• Education and training of prophylaxis assistants
• Implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic measures according to the existing guidelines practicality
• Promotion of scientific research in the field of periodontology
• Maintaining a healthy periodontium and thereby improving overall health
