Austrian Ophthalmological Society / Osterreichische Ophthalmologische Gesellschaft (OOG)

The Austrian Ophthalmological Society (ÖOG) is an association founded in 1954 and based in Vienna. It brings together around a thousand ophthalmologists from all over Austria who work in practices or hospitals. With scientific work, training and further education offers and consistent patient orientation, the association supports preventatively, curatively and journalistically what the central message of the Austrian ophthalmologists is, namely: "Eye health is more than just good vision."
