Welcome to the Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group website. APEG is the premier professional body representing paediatric endocrinology in Australasia and is committed to high standards of clinical care, advocacy, education, stakeholder relationships and research in paediatric endocrinology. With a broad membership of paediatric endocrinologists and allied health professionals, APEG is underpinned by a number of active subcommittees. They are a collegial society and welcome new members to both APEG membership and also to contribute to the subcommittees and working parties.

Objectives and Aims:
The association is not a profit organisation whose purposes are:
• To promote and maintain the highest standards of diagnosis and treatment of paediatric endocrine disorders.
• To promote among physicians and others the free exchange of knowledge with respect to paediatric endocrinology, and to encourage good fellowship among its members.
• To promote research related to paediatric endocrine disorders by individuals, hospitals, clinics, universities, and other institutions and organizations.
• To develop in association with interested bodies, educational methods designed to give those who have a child with an endocrine disorder a better understanding of the child’s condition.
• To disseminate accurate information about paediatric endocrine disorders.
• To speak and negotiate with outside organisations as the official body representing paediatric endocrinologists in Australia, and New Zealand.
• To raise distribute funds and to purchase or dispose of property in accordance with the above objectives of the Association.
