Welcome to the Australasian Association for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine.
The AACB is the major professional society for practicing laboratory professionals in Australia and New Zealand and is a full member of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) and Asia-Pacific Federation for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (APFCB). Membership of the Association provides both professional and individual benefits. As a member of the AACB you will be kept informed of the latest news, views and developments in clinical biochemistry. You will be up to date with the latest developments in science, education and related political issues.
Domestically, the AACB has close ties with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) and the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS). We also have a strong working relationship with the RCPA Chemical Pathology Quality Assurance Program.
