Founded in 1969, the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) promotes the health of women and newborns. The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
