The history of the establishment of societies of traumatologists - orthopedists of Russia

Association (lat. Associatio) is a voluntary association of individuals and (or) legal entities for mutually beneficial cooperation, achieving a common political, scientific, cultural, economic, or some other goal while maintaining the independence and independence of the members of the association. Participation, membership at the same time in several associations is allowed.

Today, the process of unification of doctors by specialization occurs everywhere, since the processes taking place in modern society dictate the need for a consolidated expression of professional interests and their protection.

The all-Russian public organization ATOR, as follows from its Charter, was created with the aim of upholding the interests of traumatologists and orthopedists who are members of the organization at all levels.

One of the fundamental principles of the organization is - self-government. The All-Russian Public Organization “Association of Orthopedic Traumatologists of Russia” is a public association of professionals, established in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the current legislation of the Russian Federation. The organization is a voluntary, self-governing, non-profit formation and serves to achieve the following goals:
• Representation and protection of the rights and common interests of the members of the Organization;
• Promoting the improvement and improvement of the quality of specialized medical care in the field of traumatology and orthopedics to the population of Russia.
