The Association of Southeast Asian Pain Societies (ASEAPS) was founded in 2005 to help promote the study and management of Pain in the ASEAN region.
Goals:
• To promote research in all areas related to Pain and its management
• To disseminate and promote professional and public education in the field of Pain management
• To enhance networking, communication and the dissemination of information at both personal and organizational levels
• To facilitate the development of pain management and related services
• To encourage the formation and development of Pain societies in Southeast Asia
• To formulate policies and standards with respect to pain management practice in the region
• To encourage cooperation and collaborate with other professional and public organizations
