The Association of German Cytological Assistants (VDCA) has been working actively for our common interests since 1973. As a committed professional association with club status, the association is represented by a board that is elected every two years. The general meeting takes place once a year. The board is supported by committed members and regional working groups that meet regularly. The board, the editorial team of the association magazine and all regional groups work on a voluntary basis.
More than 1,600 members currently benefit from a service that covers many important areas related to professional activity. The VDCA offers a comprehensive service, from advanced training and further education to exam preparation and protecting your professional interests. In addition to subject-related articles from science and practice, the association magazine Cyto-Info also provides information about current developments in cytology and professional politics.
