Association for Humanistic Psychology (AHP)

La Jolla, California, United States of America

AHP is not just for Psychologists. We are an organization with a shared vision and a rich, diverse, membership. Founded by Carl Rogers, Virginia Satir, and Abraham Maslow in the late 1950s, we have grown into a national organization comprised of educators, students, doctors, politicians, scientists, health and social workers, activists - anyone who shares humanistic values and wants to make a difference.

AHP is an active and dynamic community with multiple avenues for engagement. Connect with members across the country who have similar interests through our Members Network. Feel passionate about something? Submit an article for publication in our online Perspective Magazine. We also have an extensive research database, book list and store, and multiple other resources for our members wishing to learn more about the empirical roots of Humanistic Psychology.
