Asian Society of Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care (ASNACC) is a non-profit making scientific body founded in 2006 during the 2nd China-Japan-Korea Joint Symposium for Neuroanesthesia; South Korea, Japan, China, India, Indonesia, and Singapore being the founder member countries. It came into existence following a proposal by Dr. Haekyu Kim (South Korea) during the 1st China-Japan-Korea Joint Symposium for Neuroanesthesia organized by South Korea in 2004. In a quick succession Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar joined the group.
The main goal of ASNACC is to exchange information in the field of neuroscience; enhance abilities in clinical practice in the field of neuroanesthesia and neurocritical care; enhance research abilities in the field of neuroscience in Asia apart from establishing a forum for exchange of views among its members
Mission :
• To establish a forum for exchange and interchange of views and for enhancing fellowship amongst its members.
• To assist in the establishment of the Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care in Asia.
• To promote research and training in Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care.
• To improve Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care services in Asian countries
• To carry out all such activities as would contribute to the promotion of Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care.
