Radiology began in November 1895 with Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen’s discovery of the X-ray. The historic medical advances of the past century are in many ways the story of radiology. AOSR will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2021. The executive council nominated me to edit this book commemorating the history of AOSR. For the book, I selected 20 contributors who have been active in AOSR and served in various roles.
