Asia Pacific Pediatric Association (APPA)

The Association of Pediatric Societies of the South-East Asian Region (APSSEAR) was established with its mission of improving the health status of children living in the region and in surrounding areas.

It tries to fulfill its mission by establishing linkages amongst pediatricians in the region, providing them with educational programs to enable them to improve the services they provide and, at the same time advocating programs and health care services to provide overall benefit to children.

Mission:
The Asia Pacific Pediatric Association (APPA) stands on the advent of the third millennium with a firm resolve to faithfully pursue its mission of:
Shielding against disease the children in this part of the world under its responsibility, and to bring to them the blessings of good health and a better quality of life, in line with the principles and policies enunciated by the International Pediatric Association (IPA) and other child-caring institutions
