ANPA Mission:
To unite, support, educate, and enhance the professional identity of Nurse Practitioners in Arkansas, while promoting and advocating for excellence in practice.
The purposes for ANPA are:
• Advance, support, and promote the high standards of healthcare delivered by nurse practitioners
• Educate and disseminate information to consumers and other healthcare providers about the profession and capabilities of nurse practitioners
• Represent the interests of nurse practitioner before the executive and legislative branches of the government at the local, state, and federal level
• Serve as resource and promote communication between nurse practitioners and other agencies
• Educate third party reimbursement agencies and marker the role of nurse practitioners in the healthcare system
• Provide continuing education for nurse practitioners
• Assist and support knowledge, including professional growth in nurse practitioner graduates
