Arizona Occupational Therapy Association (ArizOTA)

Mission:
The mission of the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association (ArizOTA) is to promote and support excellence and professionalism among occupational therapy practitioners, and to collaborate with community members, healthcare providers, educators, legislators, and reimbursement sources to facilitate activities and environments that enhance the occupational performance of patients and clients served.

Vision:
ArizOTA, as a proactive, dynamic, and responsive organization, will be a driving force in advocating for:
• System change which supports creative member involvement through education, mentoring, and resource provision;
• Legislative and reimbursement issues that affect quality of life and consumer ability to access occupational therapy services, and;
• Community involvement through marketing, consumer advocacy, support of emerging arenas, and collaborating with healthcare systems, educational agencies, business, and industry.
