The Argentine Gerontological Association - AGA is a non-profit organization of professionals that brings together geriatricians, gerontopsychiatrists and other specialties, nurses, kinesiologists, occupational therapists, nutritionists, biologists, psychologists, music therapists, psychopedagogues, sociologists, social workers, lawyers , architects, etc., to which are added technicians, assistants and caregivers who work daily with the elderly.

Story:
The Gerontological Association of Argentina (AGA) was founded on April 1, 1987, AGA arises from the need to extend the invitation to other gerontologists in the Argentine Republic. AGEBA was limited to the city of Buenos Aires and this meant difficulties for incorporation into international organizations and the national government.

Purpose:
Information as a means of knowing and proceeding correctly.

Mission:
AGA is an interdisciplinary organization of those gerontology professionals who, transcending the frameworks of their discipline, seek to contribute to the development of gerontology through training, research and the provision of services through their associates, as well as promoting the knowledge of the specialty and the contribution of new values.
