ArabSpine (AS)

ArabSpine (AS) is an international, educational, and scientific association, a key one focused on the field of the spine in the Arab world. It’s an independent body of regional spine societies, spine chapters of other scientific (academic) societies, individual spine surgeons from orthopaedics, neurosurgeons, and physicians from other spine-related medical disciplines.

Mission :
ArabSpine mission is to raise the level of expertise, scientific knowledge, and training in spine surgery in the region via academic programs and hands-on teaching techniques and to increase the standards of spine medical care in Arab countries to the benefit of patients.

Vision :
Is to be the main platform of education and training in spine surgery for orthopedists and neurosurgeons interested in spine surgery in Arab countries.

Objectives :
• To improve spine care in the region via regular advanced training courses and workshops targeted to junior spine surgeons and trainees.
• Make ArabSpine Course Diploma – the main academic tool covering all the aspects of spine care and surgery – affordable to all trainees and young surgeons willing to become spine surgeons.
• Set ethical standards for the practice of spine surgery in the Arab world.
• Create a big global partner network via establishing positive communication with other scientific and academic associations in the world.
