Arabian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (ARAED)

Overview:
The Arabian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry was founded in 2010 in Zurich Switzerland.

It has the vision to be recognized as an effective scientific and clinical professional organization in the area of oral and dental health education and esthetic dentistry.

The aims of the academy are to promote the pursuit of excellence in dental esthetics, to provide leadership in the profession by defining the highest ethical standards and to foster interdisciplinary communication and research through publications and educational presentations.

Social interaction and friendship across national borders are recognized as having an important role to play in maintaining the awareness of the high esthetic principles demanded within the profession and for the public.

Mission:
The goals and objectives of this Academy are:
• To promote the pursuit of excellence in dental treatment, both intra and extra oral, and thus improve the well being and function of the entire person.
• To stress the importance of oral and dental health education and general health to attain the optimum in esthetics.
• To encourage human relationships and foster communication and research among all disciplines of dentistry and medicine.
• To promote a comprehensive teaching of esthetics and function in university curricula.
• To foster a better understanding and greater awareness of esthetic principles and techniques within the profession of dentistry on the public in the Arab world.
