The Arab Medical Association Against Cancer (AMAAC) was established in 2001 based on the Arab Medical Union bylaws to fight cancer disease as a continuation of Arab Council Against Cancer which was founded in 1995, under the name of the "Arab Medical Association Against Cancer- AMAAC" by the efforts of our colleagues: Dr. Nagi El-Saghir, Dr. Sherif Omar, and Dr. Hussein Khaled. AMAAC headquarter locates in Cairo, Egypt.

• To improve the level of knowledge of cancer professionals
• To raise efficacy of cancer treatment in Arab Countries
Mission
• Consolidating the bonds of fellowship and brotherhood among the members
• Exchanging knowledge between members
• Establishing collaboration with international oncology societies in the Arab World
• Contributing with Health Authorities in solving national cancer problems in the Arab World
• Participating in awareness campaigns and cancer control programs
• Maintaining the revival of the Arab heritage on the medical treatment of cancer
• Encouraging young doctors training within and outside the Arab Countries
