AO Recon

AO Recon is a global network of orthopedic surgeons delivering best-in-class education in joint preservation and replacement.

It has been established to respond to rising numbers of arthroplasty and periprosthetic fracture cases and the increased need for specialized education and expert advice in this field.

As a clinical unit of the AO Foundation, AO Recon contributes to the AO's mission of promoting excellence in patient care and outcomes in trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.

Since its foundation in 2014, the unit has organized over 100 events reaching more than 15,000 surgeons across the world with leading arthroplasty experts as faculty. In the future, AO Recon continues to rapidly expand its global reach and impact.
