Angioma Alliance

Norfolk, Virginia, United States of America

Angioma Alliance is a rapidly growing patient-directed network founded in 2002 and dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by cavernous angioma. There are many needs that we have been addressing together.

Mission :
The mission is to inform, support, and empower individuals affected by cavernous angioma and drive research for better treatments and a cure. We do this by developing and executing strategic, creative, high-return interventions as a model for rare diseases.

Vision :
A permanent cure for CCM.

Goals :
• Facilitate and participate in cavernous angioma research to achieve a complete understanding of the disease and facilitate clinical drug trials and other treatment improvements.
• Provide disease and resource information to educate and improve the lives of people affected by cavernous angioma, caregivers, health professionals, researchers, policymakers, the media, and the general public.
• Foster and promote a caring community to provide support.
• Get people involved in advocacy and active participation toward a cure.
• Build and sustain a broad base of funding sources to adequately support our mission and goals.
