American Society for Post Surgical Pain (ASPSP)

ASPSP Founded in 2022 by Arun Kalava, MD. This association is dedicated to changing the way the world experiences post-surgical pain.

Mission:
To provide a platform that encourages dialogue in managing post-surgical pain, for surgeons, anesthesiologists, pain physicians, emergency physicians, physiatrists, and ancillary staff (nurses & physical therapists).

They advocate for the promotion of post-surgical pain treatment centers throughout North America and beyond.

Vision:
To prevent or eliminate the development of chronic postsurgical pain (CPSP) by educating and providing standards to physicians and non-physician providers involved in surgical patient care.

They seek to raise public awareness through education, outreach, and engagement thus minimizing pain and suffering after surgery.
