The ADSA was founded in 1953 as a not-for-profit society dedicated to continuing education and the advancement of anesthesia and sedation science. For its 5,000 members, it is the only place in dentistry where all who are interested can gather together on common ground. The ADSA is renowned for providing quality education for dentists on topics from general anesthesia/deep sedation to pediatric and minimal/moderate sedation. Additionally, the ADSA offers opportunities to gain fellowship and diplomate status in conjunction with the NDBA. Its courses are taught by leading experts in the field.
