The ACCP is the only international membership organization committed solely to the professional development and fellowship for Correctional Physicians, mid-level practitioners, and dentists, providing a venue of advocacy for us and our patients.

ACCP members are united through the goal of improving public health by examining issues specific to the incarcerated and identifying solutions for the medical professionals who care for them.

The ACCP endeavors to advance research, education, and training in correctional medicine through academia and government.

The ACCP strives to serve Their members by promoting the highest professional and ethical standards in the care delivered in America’s correctional facilities.

The vision of the American College of Correctional Physicians is to pursue and establish the highest ideals and ethical standards in the provision of health services to those who are incarcerated.
