Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center, the Center for Continuing Professional Development (CCPD), formerly the Center for Continuing Medical Education, was founded in 1976 to organize symposia for medical professionals. Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center (Einstein) is committed to all three stages of medical education: undergraduate doctoral degree studies; postgraduate residency and specialty training; and continuing medical education. At Einstein, contributing to the professional education of healthcare professionals is viewed as an interdisciplinary responsibility. Accordingly, and to ensure that all medical professionals from all departments have an opportunity to fulfill their duty, CCPD has actively sought to engage the participation of all major clinical departments in the Continuing Education (CE) program. The scope of the CE program has encompassed community, national, and international audiences, and it continues to experience steady and sustained growth in the activities that it provides. Their activities include live conferences, internet activities, webcasts, podcasts, regularly scheduled series, written supplements and community outreach. Thanks to their world-renowned medical professionals, their educational activities are always rigorous and fair balanced.
