Alabama Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (aAPI)

The Alabama Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (aAPI) is a chapter of the larger American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), a non-profit medical association representing physicians of Indian origin in the United States, with a mission to advocate for their interests and support their professional development.

The American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) is a national organization representing more than 38,000 physicians of Indian origin in North America. Their chapter, the Alabama Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (aAPI) represents about 500 such physicians.

Mission:
“The mission of aAPI is to maximize the efforts of everyone involved in providing quality patient care, teaching, research and community service in USA and India. They are highly motivated, supported and committed by all the stake holders in order to achieve these goals.”

Vision:
“Their vision is to provide the physical, mental and social well-being by preventing illness and promoting health with the availability of most updated technology and resources. aAPI will be recognized as a leading organization locally, nationally and internationally. aAPI will advance the core Indo-American values of Freedom, Justice and Compassion in pursuit of excellence.”
