Ad Medici was born on January 1, 1996 based on an ambitious editorial project in Portugal, the edition of one of the most prestigious publications in the world of medicine – The Patient Care magazine. One year later, the 1st National Patient Care Days are held, the result of the need for updating and continuing medical training. The success of this initiative made clear the opportunity to expand the activities of Ad Medic, which thus embraced another project, the organization of events. The National Patient Care Days, affirmed in the National panorama as one of the main reference events in the scientific update for General and Family Medicine. In continuous growth, it is notorious to increase the number of registered health professionals and effective participants. In parallel, and in order to cover the entire Portuguese, Ad Medicc since 1998 organizes the Regional Patient Care Days. With the clear objective of bringing the best clinical update to other areas in 2007 comes the National Congress of the Elderly. The organization and secretariat of Events was a project created with the design of providing services where professionalism, accuracy and quality are essential aiming at total customer satisfaction. Today Ad Médic organizes several events annually, mainly in the medical-scientific area. The constant updating and innovation that we seek for the organization of events, leads us to take on more and more projects of great scale, national and international.
