Course Overview:
While many of us take for granted the power and ability of x-ray to perform our daily tasks in the invasive cardiac arena, knowing how x-ray works, is produced, and works can improve our capabilities. This one-hour class will offer a brief and interesting history of the x-ray, along with an overview of the parts and functions of x-ray tubes. Learners will explore how to properly use x-ray measurement criteria such as KvP and exposure during procedures, while also learning about CR, DR and fluoroscopy
